Nashville, TN//March 29, 2022 Endeavor Business Media and Resource Innovation Institute announce the inaugural Resilient Harvests Conference to take place on November 1-2, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach in Long Beach, CA. The Resilient Harvests Conference brings together a variety of industry leaders in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and cannabis cultivation communities to build consensus on government regulations, utility and efficiency program support and technology integration. The event will feature two full days of conference sessions, tabletop exhibits, networking opportunities, and optional post-event facility tours. It is expected that more than 400 industry leaders from the controlled environment agriculture community will be in attendance, including growers, governmental policy makers, utilities and efficiency program operators, facility owners and operators, and vendors such as LED manufacturers and HVAC suppliers.
“Our experience working with key horticultural market actors on government policies, utility programs and producer practices for the past six years, has shown us the power of stakeholder collaboration,” said Derek Smith, Executive Director of Resource Innovation Institute. “Now, with California set to launch codes and standards that will become a global blueprint for all agricultural segments growing in controlled environments, we are pleased to partner with information leader Endeavor to bring key stakeholders together for the critical conversations at the right time in a key market where the future is unfolding. Together, we can create a resilient agricultural future.”
Lester Craft, Executive Vice President of Endeavor’s Advanced Technology Group, added, “The inaugural Resilient Harvests Conference will provide uniquely valuable content and networking opportunities relevant to the fast-growing CEA market. We are excited to partner with Resource Innovation Institute, and to build on many years of Endeavor’s active involvement in CEA-related segments including horticultural lighting, HVAC, utilities, and facilities management, with this new event.”
