Cannabis regulators from across the United States have formed a non-partisan organization, the Cannabis Regulators Association (CANNRA), to better share institutional knowledge and regulatory best practices. Cannabis regulators from 19 states have joined CANNRA, which is being created in order to assist federal, state, and local jurisdictions that have approved or are weighing legalization of cannabis.
Congratulations to CANNRA establishing this important collaborative effort! Resource Innovation Institute will be seeking to support this new effort by sharing aggregated energy and water performance data from our Cannabis PowerScore resource benchmarking platform and peer-reviewed policy recommendations from our multi-disciplinary Policy Working Group to offer our expertise based on our experience working on energy and environmental resource efficiency in multiple markets represented the membership of CANNRA.
Cann-RA members represent Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and Washington.
